Current Events 24 July

1. India’s first e-court (paperless court) was opened at High Court of Judicature at Hyderabad which is the common high court for the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
-It was inaugurated by Supreme Court judge Justice Madan B. Lokur who heads the e-Committee of the Supreme Court.
2. India's Neeraj Chopra (Hailing from Haryana's Khandra village)won the javelin throw gold in the IAAF World U-20 Championships in Bydgoszcz, Poland setting a new world record (U-20) of 86.48m.
-South African Johan Grobler (80.59m) took the silver and Anderson Peters (79.65m) of Granada the bronze.
-The previous record of 84.69m was set by Latvia's Zigismunds Sirmais in 2011.
