-World Hindi Conference. World Hindi Conference is a world conference on Hindi language . The conference consists of several Hindi scholars, writers and laureates from different parts of the world to contribute the language.
-First World Hindi Conference was inaugurated on 10 January 1975 by then Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi. The first conference held from 10 to 12 January 1975 in Nagpur. Seewoosagur Ramgoolam , then Prime Minister of Mauritius attended conference as the Chief guest.
- Ninth World Hindi Conference held from September 22 to September 24, 2012 in Johannesburg, South Africa .

-10th world Hindi Conference to be inaugurated by PM MODI in Bhopal, from 10 - 12 September.
_Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan will address the gathering on the concluding day.
_10th World Hindi Conference Theme. "Hindi jagat: Vistar evam Sambhavanai" (World of Hindi: Expansion and Scope), is being organised by the External Affairs Ministry
_1,270 delegates from 27 countries registered for the Conference.
_ Search engine giant Google and iPhone maker Apple Inc will be among a number of technology companies which will participate
in the exhibition at the event where they will highlight their efforts to popularise Hindi.

-Good news for FII Foreign Institutional investors no need to pay MAT Minimum Alternate Tax.
_Government accepts Shah panel recommendation on exempting Foreign Institutional investors from Minimum Alternate Tax, MAT prior to 1st April this year.
_Minimum Alternate Tax (" MAT") is a tax levied under India's Income Tax Act of 1961 that targets companies that show
profits on their books and declare dividends, but pay minimal or no tax .

-India bags UNESCO Award for conserving temple in Kerala.
& India wins United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) prize 'Award of Excellence' 2015 for the conservation efforts of the Sree Vadakkunnathan Temple in Kerala.

- UN chief Ban Ki-moon has commended the vibrancy of India's democracy. During a meeting with Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan at the UN headquarters in New York, the UN chief also emphasised the important role played by the country's parliament in protecting women's rights and
enhancing gender equality.

-India is planning to send a maiden tea delegation to Georgia later this month. The 10-member official delegation will dovetail
the Georgia trip with a visit to Russia. The visit to Russia, India's single largest tea importer, is the second one this year.

- Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced the inauguration of a Japan-centric Delivery Center (JDC), located inside TCS Sahyadri Park in Pune.

- Ratan Watal designated as finance secretary
_The government, approved the designation of Expenditure Secretary Ratan Watal as the finance secretary.
