PM Modi launches IPDS to ensure 24-hour power supply to every household

- With a goal to provide 24-hour power supply to each and every house of the nation, Prime Minister Narendra Modi  launches the National Integrated Power Development Scheme (IPDS).

- Under IPDS, Varanasi will get 572 crore rupees. To start the scheme in Varanasi, foundation stone of two power substation were laid.

- IPDS is the beginning to make Varanasi a smart city and appealed to the people to use LED bulbs in order to reduce their electricity bills.
